Test pieces will be subject to break/bend test by offsite party.Working Procedures:Completes all required regulatory/safety training & will follow all safety rules & requirements including maintaining a clean work area.Receives instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repair, installation, and inspection work to be donePerforms preventative maintenance and inspects mill equipment for defects, such as misalignment, wear insufficient lubrication, hydraulic system, etc. Determines the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production.Effectively and efficiently dismantles, cleans, repairs (welding repairs when necessary), replaces, installs, maintains, assembles hydraulic equipment and lubricates mechanical equipment by the use of predictive technologies in the capabilities of pipefitter, welder, millwright, assembler, installer, etc.Adjusts equipment for proper operating gears, bearing, and shafts involving the application of press, sliding, and running fits. Operates simple machine tools, such as drill press, pipe-threading machine, power saw, etc.Babbitts and scrapes bearing as required. Erects scaffolds and performs all rigging as necessary.Performs all mechanical repairs as required on cranes and mobile equipmentLays out, installs, maintains, and repairs all types of pipe lines, fittings, fixtures, and pressure systems as required.Repairs leaks in hydraulic systems.
