This Systems Operations Associate Manager role will provide technical solutions for the Commercial Lending Business Technology platform and will help innovate processes and capabilities to make the platform more resilient and efficient. This support manager will lead a team of systems operations engineers that will analyze and resolve complex issues in a high visibility distributed JAVA/J2EE and .NET based middleware platform. He/she will actively interact with development resources, technical partner teams, vendors, and business partners to innovate systems, processes, and methodologies.
The candidate must have a strong application (or middleware) support background and proven technology leadership experience. Familiarity with various middleware technologies, database architectures, NAS/SAN, scripting, network systems, and monitoring/performance tuning is also highly desired. The ability to take initiative, problem solve, and lead high visibility fast-paced efforts (while effectively communicating to technical and senior leaders) is a must. The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to multi-task and analyze complex issues in critical situations. As a manager, this individual will coach and guide his/her team members through technical and non-technical situations. The ability to work in a positive and collaborative manner, within a large international virtual team, is crucial. A proactive mindset (combined with a willingness to learn new processes and tools) is vital to this role.
3+ years of systems support analysis experience
1+ year of consulting experience, solutions analysis experience or a combination of both in a technology environment
1+ year of leadership experience in a technology environment
3+ years of application production support experience
3 + years of experience troubleshooting environments across the entire architecture (i.e. applications to infrastructure)
3+ years of web applications experience
1+ year of experience in application performance monitoring and optimization using BlazeMeter, JMeter, Splunk and AppDynamics
1+ year of Autosys experience
1+ years of experience with Cloud technologies
2+ years of experience with application support of Information Data Systems (IDS) InfoLease and/or Pentaho product
3+ years of Tomcat development or implementation experience
3+ years of Apache experience
3+ years of Java experience
2+ years of Weblogic experience
2+ years of WebSphere experience
2+ years of SQL experience
Knowledge and understanding of network monitoring technologies
Other Desired Qualifications
Experience with Commercial Lending Banking Technology organization
Leading and resolving high-visibility EACO issues
