Tyson Foods Supervisor Maintenance in Waterloo, Iowa
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for managing instruments, scales, fork trucks, skinners, case sealers, tray formers and wizard knives and processing/slaughter equipment. Other responsibilities include: safety, downtime, budget tracking, product quality and food safety; schedule maintenance crews and production work orders; logging and record keeping; any additional assignment deemed appropriate by the supervisor. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree preferred orequivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 3 + years' experience or background in industrial maintenance; strong working knowledge of hydraulics, high/low electrical voltage systems, pneumatics and fabrication skills. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills. Special Skills: Display sound judgment, leadership, and organizational skills; ability to accept and delegate responsibility. Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities
