This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Operate and maintain rendering equipment Responsible for the preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of various rendering equipment. Responsible for the cleanliness and up keep of all rendering spaces and areas assigned. Job requires working in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment. Ability to operate and monitor rendering equipment machinery thru the use of a computer systems. Ability to monitor and record information. Good organizational skills are required. Effective oral and written communications skills required, with the ability to read and comprehend written manuals and standard operating procedures. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor. This Department currently scheduled to work Monday thru Wednesday from 5 30 am thru 6 00pm. Sunday 11 30am -6 00pm Requirements


Must be willing and able to work at heights above the normal work area and the use of ladders, lifts and scaffolds. Must be willing and able to work in extreme hot and cold environments, with seasonal winter temperatures and summer temperatures that may reach unto 110 degrees. Must be willing and able to lift 62 lbs. occasionally. Disciplines within the most recent 12 months, from posting expiration date, will be reviewed. Team member will NOT be considered if they have any one of the following disciplines on record Failure to get along with co-workers at any stage Safety violation at written warning suspension stage or Work (job) performance at written warning suspension stage. An applicant will NOT be considered for this position if there are currently (from posting expiration date) MORE THAN 5.5 points of absenteeism on their record.
