Title: Part-Time Student - Computer Information - Waterloo, IA - 38905

Your Responsibilities

  • This position will help to design and develop user interfaces and functionalities to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle

  • Determine design methodologies and tool sets

  • Complete programming using languages and software product

  • Conduct tests

  • Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms and deploy the application.

  • Help to design databases, create table structures, views, queries, functions and stored procedure for hosted web applications.

  • Implement data dashboards to display data in differing formats.

  • Produce ad-hoc queries and develop reports in Web Intelligence (webi) to support business needs.

What It Takes

  • Programming skill and database knowledge.

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology

  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local university

  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis

  • Graduation date of December 2019 or later

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above

  • 16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year

  • 35 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester

A strong candidate will also have

  • Web application development, database querying.

  • Software requirement analysis.

  • SharePoint and InfoPath knowledge.

  • Knowledge/ use of Java, visual basic, MS SQL server, Oracle, MATLAB, Business Objects, HTML 5
