Musco Lighting Electronic Assembly Operator in Urbandale, Iowa
This a long term temporary position with the possibility of becoming a future full time position
Primary Purpose: Assists in the production and testing of quality products to ensure on-time delivery to our clients.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in the assembly of circuit boards and custom designed electronic devices.
Assembles cabinets, chassis or similar devices and installs them with hand tools and other equipment.
Assembles products as outlined in work instructions and operates other equipment according to standard operating procedures.
May perform informal, in-process self-checks on manufactured items.
Other duties as assigned.
Ability to read and follow work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Ability to use small hand tools and operate various test equipment and machines associated with the assembly of electronic devices.
Ability to grasp and place components on circuit boards.
Ability to use a soldering iron to remove and attach small electronic components.
Ability to sit or stand up to 6 six hours per day.
Ability to work in a team environment
Good communication skills
Proven good attendance record
Education & Experience Requirements:
High School degree or GED equivalent required.
Prior experience with assembly of electrical equipment is preferred.
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Overtime as needed
