Musco Lighting Electronic Assembly Operator in Urbandale, Iowa

Description

Primary Purpose: Assists in the production, testing, and shipping of quality products to ensure on-time delivery to our clients.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assembles electronic products per specifications.

  • Perform modifications, upgrades, removal and/or replacement of standard electro-mechanical, surface mount, and through-hole components.

  • Assembles cabinets, chassis, consoles, or similar devices and installs them with electronic or electro-mechanical equipment.

  • May perform informal, in-process self-checks on manufactured items.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and standard operating procedures.

  • Ability to use a soldering iron to remove and attach small electronic components.

  • Ability to use small hand tools and operate various test equipment and machines associated with the assembling of electronic devices.

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Good communication skills

  • Proven good attendance record

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High School degree or GED equivalent required.

  • Prior experience with assembly of electrical equipment is preferred.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, hourly, non-exempt

  • Overtime as needed
