Customer Call Center Representative- Urbandale, IA
Kelly Services is currently recruiting for a full-time Customer Service Representative for our client, one of the world’s leading equipment and manufacturing companies, at its location in Urbandale, Iowa. This assignment tentatively starts in March 2018 and pays $17.43/hour with possible incremental increases based on performance.
You will Provide Technical Desktop Support to customers, providing excellent customer experience. You will provide responses and/or solutions to customer inquiries, problems and concerns as the first point of contact (phone & email) to customers of an Ag/Turf/Construction company. Customer interactions will be handled by phone & email, and will be documented using an internal contact management system. This position will require skill in interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution. You will be expected to handle difficult Tier 2 level customer interactions, resolve conflict, and present options that will drive customer satisfaction. Training will consist of 2 weeks classroom training, and an additional 2-4 weeks of on the job training & mentoring with an experienced technician.
Duties and Responsibilities
Will Provide Technical Desktop Support to customers to remotely reset GPS systems
Effectively document customer, dealer, and/or company personnel interactions and issues
Distribute additional product/service/policy information to customers, dealers, and personnel
Develop common solutions to problems with team members to maintain required service levels
Maintain the accuracy and availability of customer related information online
Assist in the promotion of company products/services/programs through special program offerings, special mailings and pro-active user contact
Negotiate with customers, dealers and company personnel to provide the proper policy execution and adequate resolution
Skills and Qualifications
4-year degree highly preferred. High School diploma/equivalent required.
Experience in Hardware/Software Technical Desktop Support a plus
Agriculture or farming background a Plus- Will be supporting Ag & Turf customers in US and Canada
Candidates must have excellent customer service skills and experience, including effective communication and listening skills
Must exhibit a high level of professionalism at all times
Term of Assignment
Long-term, starting March 2018- March 2021 based on candidate performance and client business needs
Extreme flexibility is needed due to the schedule requirements of supporting a 24/7, 362 days a year support center. Need to work OT as needed.
The Ag & Turf support team will provide support between the hours of 7am – 7pm, Monday - Friday. This position will require and individual to be available to work any 8hr shift within the 7am-7pm support window.
