We are seeking individuals interested in working part-time in our Quality Assurance department as Slaughter Food Safety Technician. If this is you, Apply TODAY!!Starting pay for these positions is $17.00 per hour.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:Food Safety Technicians are responsible for monitoring carcasses and the processing aids used in the slaughter process. This may include checking spray nozzle patterns, titrating organic acids, visual inspections of product, monitoring sanitary dressing, and speaking with production personnel. Food Safety Technicians assist with sampling and perform pre-operational environmental inspections.QualificationsQualified candidates must be available to work Monday, Friday, and SaturdayThe ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessaryA knowledge of HACCP Process (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)Experience with email communicationsMicrosoft Office (Excel)Beef products knowledge is preferredAbility to withstand extreme hot/cold environments.This is an hourly, management support position.
