1ST SHIFT (United States of America)
This position is responsible for developing planning assigning and managing Maintenance planners, buyers, storeroom clerks and building maintenance personnel. Coordinate maintenance planning activities and management of the facility MRO warehouse.
Ensures all MRO/Planning related activities are in compliance with standards set by USDA, FDA, OSHA, SQF, EPA, PSM, HAACP and any additional governing agencies by which we manage our business Adheres to and positively supports company policies.
Works cooperatively with the maintenance, sanitation, operations, supervisors and engineering to develop and execute maintenance plans. Manages and directs MRO stock room inventory (purchasing and receiving, min/max levels and cost control)
Is the primary CMMS contact subject matter expert. Manages and directs all building maintenance and grounds maintenance technicians.
ESSENCIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES:
1) Accountability: a. Develops, plans, assigns and reports on planned work orders for supervisors and their employees.
b. Monitors and tracks status of planned work orders and communicates to productionand rest of the plant.
c. Coordinates repair of existing assets. Updates and documents all jobs performed.
d. Reserves, orders and tracks parts through Megamation for planned work orders.
e. Helps communicate the priority of the work to be done to production, sanitationand maintenance.
f. Works closely with all departments to keep planned work flowing safety, food safety,quality, sanitation, engineering, accounting and production. Making sure all the needs of each department are being met.
g. Helps support and fills in when needed in the parts department.
h. Also, has to fill in for Planner II when not here on Preventive Maintenance activities.
Manages Building maintenance / grounds department in maintenance and repair of all buildings and grounds work.
2) Problem Solving
a. Key resource for the Maintenance Facilitator in getting data from Maximo forEquipment Strategy and Autonomous Maintenance activities.
b. Participates in the weekly RTR problem solving meetings held once a week by thedifferent Department Managers and Superintendents.
3) Megamation Support
a. Trained in the use of Megamation to track and monitor planned work orders forMaintenance.
b. Responsible for keeping the Megamation work order data base updated.
c. Reserves and orders parts for planned work orders through Megamation.
4) Service Relationships:
a. Daily contact with maintenance management and hourly employees, with frequentinteractions with operations, scheduling, sanitation, and quality assurance personnel. Directly supports Manufacturing's production superintendent and department supervisors for the designated area. Works on priority areas as directed rather than just the area designated by the reporting structure.
b. Represents the maintenance department and communicates maintenance plannedwork order activities to the plant.
Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two
or more years of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Two years industrial maintenance experience required.
Computer skills required. Megamation or similar computer- based maintenance management system, experience preferred.
