Description

This position is responsible for operating machinery and maintaining a product flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

This position is responsible for ensuring that Tyson Foods quality standards are met for the receiving of ingredients, batch production, pellet crumble quality production, and finished feed distribution. This position will be responsible for the operation of the Feed Mill during designated working hours (approx. 45 hours per week). Applicant will document key processes under feed mill management direction, including specific instructions, commodity receiving, troubleshooting guidelines, details of downtime failure. Accurately perform or assist in performing physical inventories on a variety of commodities. Assist maintenance when necessary to trouble shoot repairs, determine first contact for help, while following all FDA USDA guidelines and regulations. Assist with finished feed loadout as necessary. Assist in clean up duties as necessary. Applicant must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. Must be able to read and understand manuals. Must have good math skills along with basic computer skills, emphasis on Excel, Word while executing and documenting work completed. Strong written and oral communications skills. A Class A CDL is preferred but not required. Must be able to bend, climb, twist, lift and able to work in a
