This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


This position is responsible for providing support to the Farms Supervisor in the brooding of turkeys. This position is responsible to take care of the daily requirements of rearing turkeys from day of age to the time they are moved to the finishing side. This position is responsible for daily chores as directed by the supervisor, must perform preventive maintenance on rolling stock and equipment in the buildings, must set up buildings to get ready for poults, and must help move poults. This position must know how to or learn to use a tractor and skid loader and be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. This position requires 20 20 or corrected vision. Must maintain 98% attendance. This position cannot have contact with any avian species outside of the farm location and be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.


Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl to be considered. Experience with computers, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry preferred. Candidate must be willing to submit to a post offer drug screen and Health Assessment.
