The Refinery Superintendent will supervise overall operations for all production/operating processes for a less complex plant. We seek a professional to help ensure all areas of responsibilities meet business/plant standards for safety, quality, operational effectiveness and financial performance.


Implement operational efficiency improvements.

Monitor manufacturing profit and loss budgets/metrics, assisting with planning overall volume of orders and inventory turns/costs.

Lead and direct deliverables to ensure customer and product/quality standards meet specifications.

Support specialists and production supervisors to ensure the most effective risk mitigation plans and regulatory compliance strategies are in place.

Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications - Internal


Bachelor’s degree in a engineering related field

Minimum of six years of related work experience

Process safety and risk management experience


Minimum of three years of supervisory experience

Experience in Vegetable Oil Refining, Packaging, Solvent Extraction, Corn Milling Operations, and/or Maintenance and Reliability.
