- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to determine electrical needs and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify hazards, defects, or malfunctions and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, including inspecting and testing circuits, transformers, and other components
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions
- Ensure that electrical work meets quality standards and is completed on time and within budget
- Keep accurate records of electrical work performed, including materials used and time spent on each project
