RAKA Field Technician (Forklift Equipment) in Sioux City, Iowa

Job Purpose

Our Forklift Technicians are the cornerstone of our business and key to ensuring that our customers equipment and systems are back up and running.

As a RAKA Forklift Technician, you can expect to:

Remove, install, repair, disassemble, assemble, and perform failure analysis of all forklift and material handling equipment including engines, attachments, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, and electronic and computer applications.

Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair most types and brands of lifts

Read and understand schematics for electrical and hydraulic systems

Perform proper preventative maintenance in a timely manner

Work in a variety of customer locations and industry environments

We prefer candidates who have been exposed to a variety of systems and components such as hydraulic and electrical systems, transmissions, engines, and other related components.
