Description

Interstates is growing, and we are currently seeking a Construction Technology Manager to join our team. The Construction Technology Manager will lead and drive the research, testing, and implementation of technology into construction operations, with a particular emphasis on adding value for field staff through system integration, simplification, and productivity enhancement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive construction technology research, testing, and implementation to deliver our field technology goals:

  • Research emerging technologies, tools, and capabilities. Be the pulse for Interstates in the construction technology market and bring together ideas from the marketplace and across Interstates

  • Own the development, refinement, and prioritization of the construction technology roadmap

  • Aggressively collaborate across divisions, business units, and with shared services to paint the vision, set goals, align resources, and ensure delivery of technological results that are aligned to the company‚Äôs strategic plan

  • Drive the team to prioritize, select, test, and operationalize technology-based ideas/products

  • Work with operational leaders to integrate technological ideas and products into our business processes, with a focus on simplification of those processes

  • Acts as construction technology owner, working with partners and vendors to launch projects, products, or tools

  • Provide project management oversite of the construction technology initiatives

  • Manage and communicate our construction technology investment and ROI. Own and be accountable for the budget and results

  • Ensure adequate training and support to ensure technology is adopted and leveraged

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university is preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technological roles, including experience driving change and implementing technology solutions into business processes.
