As the Maintenance Coordinator, you will lead and coordinate daily activities for maintenance mechanics and electricians utilizing the SAP Plant Maintenance system. You will lead meetings, guide our Work Management Process, and coordinate maintenance needs with operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Planand schedule maintenance work for the location

  • MaintainCMMS System working with the location Maintenance Planner

  • Analyzemetrics from the CMMs to improve uptime and reduce costs and maintainquality data

  • Orderparts or equipment to coincide with mechanics scheduled maintenanceactivities to ensure timely completion

  • Leadefforts to improve maintenance effectiveness through continuouslyimproving preventive maintenance strategy, task lists, PM intervals,reporting content, parts inventory data, etc.

  • Ensurethe maintenance activities are completed in order to meet expectations ofPioneer’s Process Safety Management process for the location

The Reinbeck, IA production facility runs on a 24/7 schedule during peak times of the year. This role is a day shift role, but may require some occasional overtime. Some home-based computer work may be required after hours to keep production running as well.


The following are required:

  • HSDiploma/GED and 2-3 years of maintenance scheduling or related workexperience

  • Hands-onmaintenance experience

  • Abilityto lead team meetings

  • Abilityto have flexibility with changing priorities on a daily basis

  • Strongcomputer skills. Specifically, experience with SAP or related program isrequired

  • Problemsolving, teamwork, and excellent communication skills

  • Willingand able to work in a variety of areas (field, plant, warehouse)

  • Willingand able to climb and/or work in elevated areas; standing and sitting forextended periods

  • Willingand able to work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet and dryconditions

  • Willingand able to lift up to 50 lbs. and complete work that involves repetitivemotion and/or repetitive lifting

  • Willingnessand ability to work shift work including weekends and nights as needed

The following are preferred:

  • Previousexperience in a maintenance planner/scheduler role

  • Twoyear technical degree or equivalent training

  • Experience/knowledgeof computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)

  • Knowledgeof root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and reliability centered maintenance(RCM) methodology

  • Self-directed,strong organizational skills, and detail oriented
