SUMMARY

The successful candidate will, assist in disassembly of cushioning units, Snubbers, or yokes. Must comply with and follow all work instructions and safety and quality requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must learn and follow all safety rules

  • Must be able to learn work procedures/instructions and follow directions as given by Lead

  • Operate assigned tools/equipment in a safe manner as instructed

  • Abide by company attendance policy

  • Must clock in and out as assigned times

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual will possess the following knowledge, characteristics, skills and/or abilities:

  • Knowledge and prior use of common hand tools

Education and Experience

  • High school degree or GED

  • Requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

Working Conditions

  • Work in confined spaces

  • Able to wear all PPE and be on your feet for up to 10 hours per day

  • With the exception of clerical, administrative, and some management positions, which require indoor work, the physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, dry/arid and dusty conditions. Employees are required to use personal protective equipment as environmental conditions dictate.
