This position strives for accuracy in placing information to the shop floor to ensure products are built to customer demand.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned1. Manage work order creations and completions that tie the production schedule and material requirements planning (MRP).2. Maintain the production schedule and corresponding production support documents. Communicate with ECN coordinators and Project Engineers to ensure proper timing of material needs and parts delivery.3. Act as a backup to the Master Scheduler to manage the schedule to ensure level loading of manufacturing and satisfying customer demand.4. Document and maintain standard work for non MRP replenishment methods.5. Perform inventory reduction or scheduling projects as assigned, such as managing manufacturing lead times in the system to adjust for fluctuations in takt times and/or communicating with procurement to adjust delivery schedules.6. Maintain production schedule tracking reports and distribute to production management.Education and/or Experience- High School diploma required with a minimum of 3 years related experience; and/or a combination of education and experience required.- Associate's degree in business preferred.Other Skills and Abilities- Knowledge of manufacturing, MRP systems, value streams and lean processes.- Ability to communicate changes to the schedule and positively make the best decisions to protect production, while satisfying the customer.- Ability to perform intermediate PC functions including spreadsheet formulas and functions, queries, tables, merges, and special reports.- Ability to effectively manage time to meet department, production, and overall Company schedules.- Ability to maintain accuracy in data entry.- Ability to produce accurate, professional and error-free documents in a timely manner.- Demonstration of good verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships which encourage openness with customers and peers.- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while supporting the department.TravelUp to 5% domestic and/or international travel by car or plane may be required.*LI-DD1All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability or veteran status.
