Equipment may include, but is not limited to: CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, CNC press brakes, CNC mills, and 80 + ton Benders.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Demonstrate the Vermeer characteristics of caring culture, demonstrating agility, customer focused, and stewardship and model the associated behaviors.2. Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specification, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished product.3. Determines the sequence of operations and set up requirements. Selects proper fixtures, tooling, accessories and materials to be completed.4. Calculates and sets controls to produce quality parts in the most efficient manner.5. Verifies conformance of finished product using various measuring tools.6. Develops, writes and edits programs for product completion.7. Operates all equipment in a cell environment.8. Performs and documents level 1 TPMs and level 2 TPMs if required.9. At all times works in a safe manner, following all safety guidelines.10.
