Job Description

Warehouse Worker/Production

Volt is seeking qualified candidates to fill an open Warehouse Worker Production position.

The daily duties are as follows:

  • Assist in ALL phases of seed production, processing, packaging, warehousing and shipping.

  • Assist with daily production operations

  • Assist with maintaining accurate inventory

  • Actively work in both plant and warehouse area

  • Follow all safety procedures and main housekeeping of the plant area

  • Additional production and plant duties as assigned, including general duties.

  • MUST maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism always

  • MUST have excellent communication skills and be able to work well with a team

  • Pay close attention to detail and be able to count

  • MUST have ability to pass certification and operate forklift after training

*Forklift preferred but NOT required*

Requirements:

  • High-school Diploma or Equivalent

  • Ability to work the hours as assigned

  • Ability to lift to 70 lbs.

  • Composite or steel-toed shoes. Composite preferred.
