Responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the quality program to ensure the continuous production of products consistent with established standards.

Responsible for performing audits of the manufacturing facility to insure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

Responsible for developing and auditing systems for monitoring production.

Responsible for working with Corporate Quality to assure the quality objectives are met.

Responsible for incoming raw material inspection and testing for conformance to specifications.

Responsible for gauge calibration program.

Responsible for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Program (H.A.C.C.P.).

Conduct daily reviews of the production floor to access the overall status of the plant quality. Identification, reporting, and correction of any nonconformance observed.

Audit/review of all Quality documents to ensure they are being completed promptly and accurately. Examples include 1st Shot Verification Sheets, Calculated Dye Pump Setting Sheets, Quality Data Collection Sheets, and Quality Monitor.

Management of non-conforming product area to assure that sort / rework instructions are issued in a timely manner, product is dispositioned quickly / appropriately, and that feedback is provided on non-conforming products to facilitate internal corrective actions.

Management of the Quality Staff, including Quality Analyst and Quality Technicians. Assign tasks, conduct hiring, performance evaluations, discipline, and other functions as needed for the Quality Staff.

Management of the plant resin program. Assign tasks and monitor work performance of the Quality Analyst, as related to the resin program.

Champion of the Customer corrective action process. Coordination of corrective action team with sign-off and verification of corrective actions. Interface with plant CSR on communication and closure with the customer.

Management of the department records program including organizing, filing, and retention.

Approve customer samples prior to shipment.

Monitor Mold Concentricity verifications for issues and accuracy. Schedule mold review meetings with the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager to discuss any concerns.

Manage the submission, follow-up, notification to associates, and closure of Deviation Requests.

Manage the submission, distribution, follow-up, approval of responses, and the confirmation of disposition for material NCR’s (Non-Conforming Reports).

Maintain Quality Department QOS charts.

Monitor the Certificate of Analysis (COA) program.

Any other duties assigned.


Hire, train, develop, and supervise the Quality Staff such that quality standards are uniformly applied and documentation is completed.

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all quality related activities



College degree in a Technical Field and/or experience in the Quality Field


ISO based Quality System and/or GFSI knowledge

Internal auditing of ISO and/or GFSI system experience

Experience with Plastics Injection Molding, Food Packaging, or other manufacturing processes.

Problem Solving (8D/7D) Methodology experience

Management of hourly work force

HACCP training

Statistical process control
