Applications are being accepted for a part-time testing technician. The technician will collect nasal swabs and/or nasopharyngeal swabs for the purpose of COVID-19 screening. The position will also prepare cassettes for the Sofia 2 analyzer and assist with check-in and data entry. This is a part-time position scheduled for two afternoons per week (Monday and Wednesday) for a total of 5-6 hours per week.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Graduation from a certified medical lab technician, certified medical assistance program, or nursing program.
Skills in clinical technical procedures, laboratory procedures, problem-solving and time management. Knowledge of physiology, and illness prevention. Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with others in a professional environment. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality required. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment are required.
Ability to set priorities and organize work. Ability to perform fine finger movements, hear, and see.
