POSITION SUMMARY:This position manages, supervises and coordinates activities with food safety and sanitation programs. The position is responsible for management of plant cleaning, sanitation, and compliance with GMP's, Good Safety Practices, sanitation policies and procedures DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for the sanitation of the plant, interior and exterior.Responsible for the sanitation and janitorial staff activities.Organize sanitation crew in an efficient and effective manner to maximize resources.Monitor plant, equipment and parts for cleanliness and proper sanitationTrack trends to identify areas of improvement and actions to improve these areas.Communicate issues or potential issues to management.Lead cross-functional Sanitation team.Accompany USDA inspector during pre-op inspections.Participate in 3rd party and regulatory audits.Conduct safety and educational training.Inventory and order sanitation supplies.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
