Corteva Agriscience™, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont™ has an exciting opportunity for an Audio Visual Support Coordinator at our Johnston location. The Audio Visual Support Coordinator ensures that the audiovisual (AV) equipment needs of participants are met during conferences, sessions and meetings held at the Beaver Creek campus and throughout the Corteva Agriscience locations in the Des Moines Metro area. This person provides input to AV solutions to meet needs of internal customers and is responsible for project management for assigned AV installs. The AV Support Coordinator will also provide expertise and support for room schedulers, room equipment monitoring software, video conferencing, and SMART board technology.

Shift: 7:00am-4:00pm with infrequent earlier mornings and later evenings/weekends

What do we expect from you?

  • 40%:Ensure appropriate AV equipment and supplies are available to meet conferenceroom needs at the Beaver Creek campus and AV meeting requirements arefulfilled; ensures equipment operates effectively and resolves any technicalproblems or issues that arise before or during a meeting. Examples of AV requirements are audioconference, video conference, streaming from other metro locations, recordingmeetings, and LAN/power at tables.

  • 25%:Provide expertise and support for the following:

  • Conferenceroom schedulers through administration of supporting Crestron Fusion software,providing reporting as needed, and troubleshooting hardware and softwareissues.

  • Conferenceroom audio video conferencing devices from install, to ongoing maintenance andtraining as well as lifecycle management. Continue to explore and gainexpertise for video conferencing capabilities through the use of newertechnologies and software offerings.

  • SMARTboards including understanding business needs, procurement, installation, andongoing support/training.

  • AVequipment monitoring across campus through utilizing software to track usage ofequipment, identifying when preventative maintenance is needed andcommunication to appropriate team members for maintenance to be performed.

  • 15%: Provide project management for assigned AVimprovement and replacement projects.Work with AV team and employee customers to understand technology needsfor meeting spaces. Make recommendationsabout new technologies that should be adopted by DuPont Pioneer. For approvedassigned projects, coordinate design, procurement and installation with teammembers and preferred AV companies.

  • 10%:Provide training as needed through providing hands-on instruction of equipmentoperation, technical advice and/or instruction to speakers/meetingorganizers. Develop content for trainingand general use by meeting organizers.

  • 10%:Work as part of the Conference Services AV team by assisting as needed toensure that appropriate equipment and supplies are available to meet conferenceroom needs across campus; ensures equipment operates effectively and resolvesany technical problems or issues that arise before or during a meeting.

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

  • Associatedegree from a technical college with a focus on audio visual equipment orequivalent experience

  • Minimumof 3 to 5 years equivalent experience

  • Experience with video and media production,rear projection units and other video image projection units, audio visualintegration with personal computers, networked AV systems, LAN connectionports, audio systems, and video conferencing (including IP technology devices)

  • Workingknowledge of the latest technology that is currently available and a goodworking knowledge of the required maintenance of the equipment

  • Abilityto work with other department members to build and reach consensus and support

  • Experiencein effective deployment and operation of audiovisual equipment in a businesssetting

  • Demonstratedinterpersonal communications skills including oral, written and presentationskills

  • Demonstratedability to express ideas concisely and succinctly

  • Demonstratedstrong problem-solving skills (with a successful track record)

  • Demonstratedstrong negotiation skills

  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills

  • Demonstratedability to collaborate effectively and provide high quality services

  • Demonstratedability to handle a large volume of work under tight deadlines, particularlyinvolving situations where the event is real time

  • Demonstratedability to remain calm in stressful situations; calming effect on others,particularly presenters and their support

  • Abilityto deal with interruptions and manage numerous projects at the same time

The following are preferred but not required:

  • CTS(Certified Technology Specialist) Certification from the InternationalCommunications IndustryAssociation

  • Projectmanagement experience with the ability to define expectations, monitor detailsand progress, influence, persuade and negotiate to keep projects on scheduleand within budget

  • PossessCrestron Fusion software and SMART board knowledge
