Role OverviewResearches, designs, develops, tests, debugs, deploys, and maintains application software. Applies a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to the construction, analysis, or management of software. Involved in planning of system and assists with system design. Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Performs all aspects of programming assignments. Responsible for compliance with software standards and conventions. Designs and builds changes, extensions and enhancements to existing application programs and reports. Supports data migration, data conversion, data loading, and performance improvement. Designs details of automated systems. Designs and develops integrations between applications using application programming interfaces.

Primary Responsibilities:• Provides assistance in one or more disciplines within IT (e.g. business and technical application, IT infrastructure, security and compliance, desktop support, database maintenance etc.).• Ensures the maintenance of an up to date documentation library.• Conducts and/or oversees desktop and system support activities to ensure quality of work provided to end users.• Conducts and/or oversees installation of hardware, software, operating systems and network hardware as well as equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.• Plans and Conducts and/or oversees system maintenance, updates, upgrades and enhancements to limit loss of service.• Conducts and/or oversees data analysis and testing activities associated with system operations performance.• Collaborates with business and technology teams ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, execution of users acceptance, etc.• Implements security controls and executes operational risk mitigations. Leverage a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process to deliver high-quality software products and services.• Leverage the latest software development frameworks, including Agile methodologies, and Continuous-Integration / Continuous-Deployment (CI/CD) models to plan, architect, design, build, test, document, deploy and maintain software products and services.• Hands-on development of all parts of the technology-stack including user interface (UI), front-end (client-side) & back-end (server-side), database integration, web service & API development, performance tuning and security design for mobile (native & responsive), web and embedded-systems.• Work with Product Managers to respond to customer requirements, define sprints, backlogs and manage the development process.• Supports the understanding of programming technologies available to provide the most efficient means to implement the needed functionality.• Establishes enterprise-wide standards for application development and integration.• Plans for future platform requirements to support business and customer needs.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 10 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 7 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be willing and able to travel 30% of the time
Experience with Java, J2EE OR JSP programming languages
Experience with HTML, Java Script, XML, XSL, XSLT or AJAX web technologies
Experience with Tomcat web application
Experience with Windows 7, Windows 10, Linux or Unix operating systems
Experience with Oracle 12C database or some other database experience
Experience with Dassault Systèmes Enovia PLM 3DExperience or Enovia PLM V6 Platform development or administration
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) administration
Experience with UG NX, Solidworks, Mentor Or Cadence CAD tools
