Position Summary:The basic function of the Press Brake operator is to set up and operate forming machines to fabricate parts.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.i Analyze work orders, work pieces, and blueprints.i Set up and operate machines as required to manufacture parts.i Check parts throughout production run, using company supplied measuringequipment to monitor quality and repeatability of process. i Verify conformance of finished work pieces to specifications and blue prints by use of appropriate measuring devices.i Accurately fill out work order routers with correct quantity of good parts and scrap parts.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The person will be working near moving mechanical parts. This setting involves manufacturing equipment with others working in close proximity.
