Essential Job Functions:

  • Follow standard operating procedure for set up and operation of CNC lathes, manual mills and other CNC equipment as needed

  • Follow proper procedures for checking part dimensions using tools such as calipers, gage pins, and micrometer to ensure quality adherence to part tolerances

  • Ability to read blue prints and product drawings to ensure

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Maintain good internal customer relations through helpful, considerate, and positive communication with all employees

  • Follow current procedures and processes while looking for ways to improve.

  • May assist with CNC programming, set-ups, preventive maintenance, general clean-up and developing machine shop processes.

III. Education and/or Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Knowledge of CNC equipment preferred

  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
