We are seeking a motivated individual who, under the direction of the VP of Operations, will be responsible for directing, while working with Location Leaders, the company maintenance personnel to ensure facility and equipment maintenance and repairs are being completed properly, safely, and timely at all locations. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of maintenance and special projects to ensure that goals and/or objectives are accomplished within prescribed timeframe and funding parameters. * *At Ag Partners, you will find a team atmosphere committed to safety and excellent customer service and a stable career that offers excellent benefits! *You Will: * Act as a leader and manage the Company Maintenance by: * Evaluating current Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs of Ag Partners’ grain and agronomy facilities to identify areas for improvement while utilizing electronic documentation with a regular verification process by a supervisor. * Providing training to appropriate personnel and assist where needed to ensure successful implementation. * Leading facility repairs, maintenance or rebuild projects as requested by Ops VP to assist with facility operational needs. This would include working with contractors, ordering parts/supplies, organizing location help as needed, etc. * Assisting locations as needed on key or emergency repairs including significant breakdowns. This could include helping with the actual repairs or providing advice on how to best address an issue. * Overseeing and assisting in the training for maintenance personnel, location operations, and managers to ensure maintenance is done properly, timely and adequately documented. * Be a resource to others and continuously communicate by: * Establishing and communicating company standards for repairs and replacement of equipment, rolling stock and facility needs to locations as identified. * Preparing project reports for management, client, or others. * Directing and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget while collaborating with the Safety Director and Location Leaders. * Reviewing project proposals or plan to determine timeframe, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. * Establishing work plans and staffing plans for each phase of project and coordinates with Location Leaders for movement of employees from other facilities to accomplish projects that require additional manpower. * Abide by Ag Partners’ values and practices by: * Working in a safe & efficient manner * Providing above average customer service * Assisting other locations, as needed * Projecting a positive attitude at all times. You Have: * High school diploma and five to six years hands-on industry related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Must have a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and applicable regulatory requirements and best practices.
