Stellar Industries Inc Final Assembly Inspector - Garner in Garner, Iowa
Responsible for examining finished units, and materials for quality and defects. Ensures that people, equipment and materials are used properly to maximize productivity. Inspection Duties or other work as directed by Supervisor or Manager of Engineering.
Be capable of performing all aspects of the Inspector position, working with other employees as part of a team, and be prompt and on time daily for work.
Willingness to take direction from area supervision and follow that direction.
Be capable of reading blue prints and understanding them and other technical documents required by the job of Inspector.
May be required to complete an internal welder-training program and inspect weld operations for defects as part of job responsibilities.
Have the ability and desire to become efficient with quality inspection equipment, and learn all aspects of job as required.
Work with purchasing department to review quality issues and required documentation that is needed from time to time from vendors.
Work with engineering, manufacturing and sales to verify end customers finished product.
Run tests on all products as needed to guarantee a quality end product for customer.
Ensure quality of manufactured products.
Inspect components, subassemblies and assemblies. Inspect trucks and products as they are finished.
Perform visual inspections. Perform complex tests using instruments and equipment. Test, measure and analyze products.
Perform inspections for compliance and standards.
Ensure company is meeting the standard codes in the manufacturing process.
Continually demonstrates a productive and non-disruptive work ethic.
Works in such a way as to create no or limited scrap or rework and works to continually improve quality levels throughout the organization.
Follows all company safety rules as laid out in the company safety manual and all other company policies.
Maintain company equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
Be able to provide all of the proper tooling and other equipment as specified to fulfill basic job requirements.
Continually strive to improve in all aspects of job requirements.

Have valid drivers license.
Must be able to get and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) pass DOT physical and be willing to submit to random drug tests as required.
Must be able to get and maintain a Crane Inspector Certification.
