These duties include improving safety, reducing costs, improving quality, maximizing the department's effectiveness through long term planning and project implementation, providing appropriate training and development, ensuring consistent roll out of plant policies and procedures, and maintaining open communications and positive employee relations. In this role, you will also drive continuous improvement within your team.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage workforce compliance to facility safety standards. Assist in updating and development of safety standards as needed to ensure workforce safety.Motivate and lead a shift of approximately 30 employees to achieve key business objectives.Manage and execute weekly production schedules. Lead cross-functional shift hand-over meetings.Report on key shift metrics.
