Other benefits include: full benefits package, paid time off, paid holidays and birthday holiday, and more!Submit an application today to get started!Areas of AccountabilityPlant Operators are responsible for operating processes and equipment in a safe, clean, effective manner to ensure the production of high-quality products while meeting all regulatory compliance requirements.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork safely following all company safety policies, practices, procedures and improvement initiativesComply with all regulatory compliance requirements including safety, environmental, and food/feed safetyOperate all facility equipment and processes in area(s) of responsibilityOperate facility equipment autonomously while maintaining good communication with supervisors and support teamsPerform quality control tests on finished product and make adjustments to equipment to meet product standardsMonitor and document process equipment and adjust the flow of production to maintain production standardsPerform basic operator troubleshooting and repair of equipment and request assistance from shift supervisor and maintenance for more complex careMaintain clean work environment to ensure safety and product qualityCommunicate any accidents, threats, downtime, or cost-saving measures to the shift supervisorAssist other production and maintenance personnel as needed or requestedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience in food/feed production a plusExperience operating a bobcat and forklift preferredUnderstand and operate basic computer systemsLift 30 pounds repeatedlyOccasionally push and/or pull heavy objectsOccasionally lift up to 75 lbs. from floor to waist levelFrequently bend at the waist and/or kneesFrequently climb stairs and/or ladders (up to 40 ft.)Frequently sit/drive for extended time periodsAbility to work evening/night shifts as requiredAbility to work in confined spaces
