National Dentex Dental Lab Technician II in Dubuque, Iowa

Our team is growing, and we are hiring a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Oral Arts Dental Laboratory in Dubuque, Iowa for a Dental Lab Technician II (Removable Prep).
The regular hours for this position are from 7:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
Bead and pour impressions
Make duplicate models
Pushing and pulling cart of work around the work area
Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
Ensure that all steps and technical team policies (TTPs) are followed, in order, to ensure consistent, accurate results.
Review final work and check completely that all quality standards have been met before passing the work to the next technician.
All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Good hand-eye coordination, good manual dexterity, excellent perception skills and the strong ability to pay close attention to details.
Ability to read, listen, comprehend, retain and execute on written and verbal instructions
High level of organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve using past experience and success to gauge the best steps on future cases.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
Must have 12 months of experience as a Dental Laboratory Technician and is skilled in one or more of the tasks associated with a Dental Laboratory Technician.
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
Hot glue gun
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach.
Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions.
Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.
Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
