We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as a Spray Painter at our Des Moines, IA facility. The shift is 2nd shift,4:00PM - 12:30AM, Monday through Friday with the possibility of overtime. Starting pay is $22.51 and may be higher depending on experience. 2nd shift also has a shift premium of 4%.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Quality painting of products and equipment in accordance to Corp. guidelines.

  • Apply EF-GARD face sheet side of forms in accordance with/Corp. policies.

  • Maintain pressures and temperatures on the paint system.

  • Thin paints as needed.

  • Check paint viscosity.

  • Treat water in overhead booths.

  • Empty 320-gallon paint vats as needed.

  • Run towveyor in a safe efficient manner.

  • Record labor on work order and timecard accurately.

  • Complete quality audit process in accordance with corp. guidelines.

  • Operate material handling equipment.

  • Clean and maintain work area daily.

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance of all painting related equipment.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervision.

  • Operate and maintain spray paint guns.

    Requirements:

    Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.
