Software Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Integrate quickly into an established environment. Support the maintenance and sustainment efforts for the client’s Event Coordination System (ECS). Assist with requirements analysis and testing for other software products developed by the team. Work closely with all impacted users and the software development lead to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Troubleshoot production issues in response to user inquiries. Manage and prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience in Web application development with PHP, JavaScript, Ajax, and MySQL

-1+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and XML

-Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies via self-study and collaboration with team members

-Ability to display a service-oriented attitude and collaborate with others

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-AA or AS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in application development with Java

-Experience in application development with C/C++ or C#

-Experience with both Agile software development practices and SDLC processes preferred

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree
