HERE'S A TASTE OF WHATYOU’LL BE DOING

  • A People Person - Supervise Quality and MSS Cleaning Staff. EnsureDiversity and Inclusion meets / exceeds corporate standards. Proactivelyengage in the development and training of associates and support such plansdeveloped by plant leadership

  • Detail Oriented - Assist with food safety and quality incidentreporting and investigations along with the Pest Control and SanitationProgram, and the Quality and Food Safety digital data collection system

  • Managing Day to Day – Participate in Daily Direction Setting meetings, conductregular MSS and Clean up inspections, along with validations of allergencleanings using swabs and/or samples collected for analysis

  • Audit Ready - Evaluate facility sanitary conditions visually and analytically whileprioritizing corrective actions in preparation for internaland third party audits

  • Following Best Practices – Ensure Microbial program and sanitation compliancewhile adhering to required quality, sanitation and food safety laws,regulations, corporate policies and practices. Administerthe terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement/work rules and companypolicies and procedures in a consistent manner

  • We know you can juggle – Ensureachievement in all areas: shift KPIs and MCRS elements, Continuous ImprovementProjects, Sanitation training for facility personnel. Troubleshoot persistent sanitation issues toidentify deficiencies in sanitation program or facility / equipment design.Recognize and escalate, as needed, those issues identified as risks to, oropportunities to improve plant performance

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED plusdemonstrated Sanitation and supervisory/management experience

  • Knowledge of chemical usage andsafety

  • Proficiency with MicrosoftOffice applications

  • Strong problem solving ability

  • Ability to effectively functionin a unionenvironment and promote positive labor relations

  • Understanding of generalindustrial safety requirements

Bonus Points:

  • Bachelor's degree andSanitation experience in a food processing facility

  • Quality/FoodSafety manufacturing experience

  • Food industry experience

  • Experience withSAP or ERP system

  • Certified in Pesticideapplication
