Our GPS Technology Organization is a structure within the US GPS practice that implements and maintains a new operate and technology model designed specifically to support U.S. defense and Government engagements.

Within the End User Technology Experience team, we enable EY professionals to meet the increasing pace of business by delivering productivity and collaboration solutions that empower them to work together where they want and how they want.
As a Technical Lead, you’ll be in a highly skilled senior role with the industry leading technical expertise to support one or more Product Managers. You’ll have a deep end to end understanding of all technical aspects of the service and be the key integration point with other products/services. As the Desktop Tech Lead for GCC High, you’ll be responsible or supporting all Desktop product managers to ensure our managed service provider is delivering a best-in-class desktop solution to this service line. You’ll need to ensure that the desktop solution for GCC High meets the appropriate compliance levels required by the business using primarily MS solutions and services.
*Your key responsibilities *
Bridging service components on premise and cloud, and across vendors, GDS and other supplying teams
Managing the technical dependencies across the different products and services
Driving the product portfolio strategy and long-term product roadmaps utilizing resources in the Architecture and Experience team, engineers and vendor experts
Owning and initiating all innovation for the products
Directing and overseeing all architecture and engineering activities in service delivery and service deployment utilizing our architecture and vendor organizations
Acting as the last resort for major service outage resolutions
Actively maintaining technical skills and expertise while having an intimate understanding of vendor product roadmaps using NDAs etc
Directing and owning technical resolution of overall vulnerabilities and risks for the products
Supporting the following Desktop product owners in delivering a desktop solution to approximately 2000 GCC High end users: Desktop Engineering & Configuration, Desktop Packaging, Desktop Deployment, Desktop Packaging, and Desktop Hardware.
Periodic allocating additional time on the job to support multiple demands and escalating issues
Minimal travel to support change or planned project activities

Brings proven industry leading technical expertise of the product(s)
Good understanding of the financial aspects of the product(s)
Prior experience managing IT vendors
Detailed understanding of Windows installation and configuration items
Advanced programming/scripting skills in vbscript and PowerShell
Experience troubleshooting and creating scripted installers (MSI, MSIX, Wise, InstallShield)
Familiarity with ServiceNow and incident, problem, and change management processes and procedures
A high degree of knowledge and experience with Windows management tools, and specific experience with Intune managing desktop devices
Knowledge of modern OS deployment methodologies (Modern Provisioning via DEM accounts and Autopilot)
Advanced Troubleshooting skills covering (but not limited to): Windows 10, O365, Browsers (IE/Edge/Chrome), Bitlocker, Teams and OneDrive for Business and intermediate knowledge of their complementing infrastructures.
Fundamental understanding of network concepts (PAC Files, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, and Proxies)
Experience with Azure AD & M365
Strong technical skills designing, documenting, and implementing Desktop projects
History of managing and configuring desktop security tools and settings
Background in the use, management and creation of both application and machine virtualization products (Hyper-V, RemoteApp, WVD)
Understanding of driver and firmware management techniques
Familiarity of working in managing desktops in highly restrictive, regulatory focused environments.
*To qualify for the role you must have *
Bachelor or masters degree in information technology or Business Management
Approximately 10 years of experience in a comparable executive leadership role
Industry technical certification for the relevant product(s) are required
Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Security clearance level
