We are recruiting to fill 2 Level II / Level III Field Service NDT Specialist jobs were you can live anywhere in the US, within a reasonable commute to an airport, and you must have reliable transportation. This position requires strong knowledge on scope and
limitations of the NDT methods being used, and should exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of Level II and Level I Technicians.
The Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Specialist is a Level II or Level III certified NDT in the following methods: ET, UT (Shear Wave and Phased Array), MT and PT inspections and provides advanced inspections and technical services as per defined scope on Power
Generation Equipment (Gas and Steam Turbines, Power Generators, and Compression Equipment). Inspections are conducted at a wide variety of industrial facilities as required including but not limited to Nuclear, Wind, Petrochemical, etc. The NDT Specialist
is also capable to operate both manual and digital data acquisitions systems in performing and interpreting non-destructive testing activities. These services require high-level customer interaction.
These positions are for Legally authorized to work in the US candidates. You must be able to pass a drug test and background check. Some of the physical requirements of this position are traveling / field service job that requires you to be able to be away
from home for extended periods of time, shift work, the ability to lift safely a minimum of 50 pounds, perform physical work-related activities, and wear personal safety protection equipment (PPE).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct specialized tests and inspections to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
Organize and report test results, provide accurate and concise interpretation of inspection results.
Responsible for technical leadership and mentoring of NDT Staff and/or NDT contracted personnel.
Interface daily with the client about work priorities and progress of projects, be the direct contact point to the customer for NDT work scope.
Stay abreast of new technologies and test procedures within the assigned organization and continually expand inspection qualifications.
Actively participate in client programs, planning and strategy sessions.
Actively participate in client safety initiatives, incident investigations, Hazard Hunts, etc.
Set up and calibrate NDT equipment.
Create and maintain a personal commitment to integrity, safety, quality, and productivity.

Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or in a Technical Discipline from Trade School, or MilitaryProgram and certification as a Level II or Level III in ET, MT, PT and UT according to American Society of Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) and 5 years of related experience in NDT Techniques in Power Generation, Industrial, or Manufacturing environment.
Prior project management and project engineering experience is a plus.
NDT Level II or Level III Certification ET, MT, PT. UT Shear Wave and Phased Array are preferable.
Ability to work unsupervised, planning, organizing, and scheduling activities of yourself and others.
MUST BE Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be fluent in English.

Must have a Valid Driver’s License and Passport.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
May be required frequently lift, move, and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
May be required to walk/stand upright for periods of up to 12 hours and occasionally ascends/descends ladders up to 30 feet and stairs up to 6 stories.
Significant (domestic and international) travel will be required (75% to 100%) and on short notice.
Work for extended periods, including weekends, various shifts, and holidays, is also required.
May be required to work in extreme weather conditions (heat and cold) for extended periods of time.
