    Job Description:

    SUMMARY

Work with both internal and external customers to complete orders and assist with their questions and issues. Attention to detail and accuracy are very important. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced centralized support area of the company that involves interfacing with customers as well as employees from various areas of the company and completing work in a timely and accurate manner.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process orders, both customer orders and internal orders, in an accurate and timely manner using the ERP software.

  • Communicate with customers on their orders.

  • Work with appropriate departments to resolve any outstanding issues.

  • Daily update Nocturne order information.

  • Communicate and coordinate orders with planning and shipping departments.

  • Process Change Orders.

  • Release product to shipping and complete all required paperwork.

  • Make sure completed orders are shipped according to schedule.

  1. Complete day-to-day clerical functions accurately and in a timely manner (i.e. making and distributing copies, filing, etc.)

  2. Work with the Materials team to improve the functionality and operation of the Materials Department.

  • Communicate and work together with other departments and functions as required.

    SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Back-up other jobs in the Materials Scheduling as needed according to cross training.

  • Other job responsibilities may be added to the above job description as required at the direction of the Materials Scheduling Manager.

    AUTHORITY

  • To request necessary supplies and resources to adequately complete the responsibilities listed above.

  • To work with other departments to resolve issues involving the functions outlined in this job description.

    Experience and Skills:

  • Past experience in Customer Service.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment and complete them in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Detail oriented and accurate.

  • Professional and able to work well with others, able to work well with a variety of employees from different departments.

  • Basic computer skills. Microsoft Office experience preferred.

  • Discreet and able to maintain confidentiality.

  • Able to read and write English.

  • Good work attendance and dependability.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office environment with business casual dress. May require business attire. Involves working in a centralized location with several other employees that is fast-paced and requires multi-tasking, and working with people from all areas of the company.
