We appreciate your patience while we work to integrate our application and hiring process.Job DescriptionMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESTroubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment to include both mechanical and electrical problems. Equipment may include, but not limited to:CNC Mills, lathes, drill press and grinding machinesPumps, valves and piping systemsHydraulic and pneumatic cylinders and controlsTransformers, drives and PLC'sBlenders, extruders, conveyors and programmable controllersElectric motor bearings and wiringPerform daily and weekly preventative maintenance checks on production equipment.Responsible for all plant and property maintenance and upkeep.Performs tasks within acceptable limits for quality, quantity, sanitation and timeliness of completion, paying particular attention to prevent and eliminate costly errors.Participates in on-the-job training and instruction to learn new procedures and additional job tasks.Other maintenance duties as assigned.COMPETENCIESRead and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to handle multiple functions and prioritize tasks by importance.Familiarity with lock out/tag out and other industrial maintenance programs is helpful.Knowledge of plastic manufacturing is also very helpful.QUALIFICATIONSAssociates degree or equivalent work experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.Minimum two (2) years experience working in a manufacturing environment.Technical licenses in mechanical and/or electrical preferred.Our ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enabler the business to win.
