Brief Job Description:
Maintains accurate warehouse inventory by ensuring we have accurate counts on our inventory. Performs cycle counting, inventory adjustments, product code verification and code dating for warehouse inventory.
Accountable and Reports to (Job Title): Inventory Control Supervisor
Positions that Report to you (Job Title): none
Reports to work when scheduled and on time. Adheres to company policies and departmental guidelines.
Responsible for the accuracy of UPCs through verification of new, deleted and changed items.
Audits zeros/outs documentation every day from previous shift’s picking operation. Verifies location where inventory discrepancies were evident and corrects inventory physically and within WMS program.
Maintains inventory by adjusting for cycle count discrepancies, performs data entry in the WMS program for inventory adjustments, verifies accuracy of units of measure, description, etc.
Reclaims returned and/or damaged product for Lomar. Completes required paperwork and inputs adjustments into the WMS program. Determines if the product is salvageable and the next course of action for product.
Pulls inventory for buyers as needed. Makes adjustments to account for product pulled.
Researches inventory problems and discrepancies and reports them to supervisor.
Ensures that security measures and practices are implemented and complies with all Lomar security procedures when monitoring non-Lomar employed truck drivers and/or visitors.
Performs daily safety inspection of power equipment, ensures required safety equipment is being utilized, and operates equipment in a safe manner.
Keeps work environment clean and neat by sweeping and picking up cardboard, plastic wrap, and totes.
Attends departmental and company meetings.

Education/Experience Required to Perform Job
High School diploma or equivalent required; one year of inventory relate work is preferred; knowledge of warehouse operations, and product knowledge is a plus.
Equipment Used to Perform Job
Stock picker, electric pallet jack, forklift, turret truck, Vocollect, Windows based PC, printer, wireless devices, telephone, fax, copier, calculator, internet, product management software, and Microsoft Office products
Must be able to physically perform heavy work: exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently and 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Visual requirements include vision from 20 inches or less to 20 feet or more with or without correction, color vision, field of vision, and depth perception

Must have the ability to meet language and hearing capabilities for voice automated selection
Upon certification, must safely operate both electric pallet jacks, forklift, stock picker, and turret truck
This position is expected to work a minimum of 40 hours a week, working additional hours as needed during busy times, which can include hours on the weekends. The duties of this position are performed in a warehouse setting with heights reaching 30 feet in the air. There will be exposure to noise, dust, dirt and equipment including batteries. There is significant pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks each shift. Dry warehouse temperatures will vary based on outdoor climate (generally between 60 and 80 degrees). Some employees could be asked to work in our refrigerated warehouse where temperatures can vary from 48 to 55 degrees.
Has daily contact with warehouse employees, office employees, distribution centers, sales representatives and retail store personnel.
