Consumer Lending Technology – CLT

It is an exciting time to join the Wells Fargo Consumer Lending Technology (CLT) Education Financial Services (EFS) User Interface Development team. As a lead C# .NET developer, you will help our team deliver quality successful business solutions. EFS User Interface (UI) software developers work together to analyze complex business requirements, drive innovative UI layouts, provide input on solution architecture and design patterns, create prototypes, build safe and secure software, develop test scripts, and provide application systems support.

Key Responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Providing technical leadership and direction for highly complex solution development, maintenance and support

  • Driving application delivery to include: Build, test and deployment

  • Fostering a collaborative development environment that leverages the different strengths of the team to support goals

  • Relaying complex technical information to both technical and non-technical team members

  • Translating business requirements into UI prototypes and technical designs

  • Adhering to quality, security and compliance requirements to manage risk

  • Continual learning of new C# design patterns and development techniques

Please note: This position can be located in our Wells Fargo site locations in the following locations: Sioux Falls SD, Des Moines IA and Minneapolis MN. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance, therefore, you must reside in or around the target location or be able to relocate at your own expense.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of C#.NET experience

  • 7+ years of application development and implementation experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology

  • Ability to provide leadership to a technology team

  • Ability to translate and present complex technical data across technical and non-technical groups

  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Knowledge and understanding of technology production support: troubleshooting for web internet or intranet applications

  • 1+ year of SQL experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of cloud computing

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work on call as assigned

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
