Responsibilities

Principal is seeking a driven, personable, smart, and technical individual that will be a rock star teammate on our Corporate System Support scrum team. In this position, you will be working with a highly collaborative scrum team to support, design and implement solutions used by our Law and Government Relations departments. Ideal candidates will help push the boundaries of traditional IT roles by contributing to our engineering culture in a variety of ways including (but not limited to) performing traditional IT Business Analysis and Product Owner tasks, assisting in system design / configuration, and executing system testing. Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree (6 years of experience equates to an Associate’s degree when defining “equivalent work experience”)

  • 1+ years of experience in an IT field – including internship or professional experience

  • Strong preference given to individuals with backgrounds as a technical business analyst, technical product owner, etc.

Additional preferred technical experience:

  • Experience working in an agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, etc.)

  • Ability to contribute to scrum team in multiple ways – Some examples include:

  • SQL, vendor app configuration tasks, perform system testing, contribute to writing features / user stories, requirements gathering and documentation, identifying areas for process improvement, ability to demonstrate java knowledge and/or experience

  • Exceptional planning/organizational, problem-solving, analytical, time management, decision-making, and communication skills

  • Able to maintain accuracy and confidentiality

  • Basic leadership skills; proven ability to be a self-starter and seek opportunities for involvement

  • Demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning
