We have an immediate need for a Business Planning & Process Specialist . This position is responsible for driving and improving processes to develop business plans, create master production schedules, integrate detailed scheduling activities, monitor/control order booking within the plan, designing/maintaining metrics, and drive planning to achieve higher levels of customer satisfaction and profitability.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
Work with IT, production and supply chain management to ensure new planning systems meet business needs.
Act as liaison between users and software developers such that user needs are included in the system design.
Assist with system testing prior to implementation
Troubleshoot issues prior to and after system go live
Ensure new systems are designed to support the analysis and reporting necessary to allow management the visibility to make proper business decisions.
Work with IT to maintain and implement improvements to legacy systems.
Take on the role of teacher within SCM, as well as other organizations within DPW, on supply chain management systems, tools and processes to support DPW business objectives.
Provide data and process support for the Master Production Scheduler. Support of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) includes schedule verification, troubleshooting, and modifications.
Support ad hoc analysis related to production, shipments, financials, inventory, etc. and communicates findings to plant management.
Provide backup support for SCM Capacity Specialist. This includes possessing a working knowledge of the plant LP model and the supporting production and accounting data systems.
Understand that accident and injury prevention are equal in importance to production, quality, delivery, recovery and cost control.
Work safely and promote safety consciousness among other employees.
Lead in the promotion and practice of Arconic Production System concepts and philosophies within his/her span of control and responsibility.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
2 years of experience in SCM, planning, or manufacturing environment.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Information Technology.
Experience using querying, database, and spreadsheet software.
Working knowledge of Sales and Operations Planning and Master Production Scheduling
