The Senior Technology Leadership Professional is responsible for all aspects of software or hardware product delivery and performance. The Senior Technology Leadership Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
The Senior Technology Leadership Professional works with design engineering and test team to drive products from design completion to volume production release. Performs various engineering tests to verify and validate product designs. Supports product evaluation and qualification on leading edge technology components. Ensures that production schedules are followed and product(s) meet specifications and quality requirements. Interacts with product engineering, quality, manufacturing and marketing teams to analyze and provide technical support to help resolve customers' product related problems/issues. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

The Senior Technology Leadership Professional serves as an advocate for engineering teams at Humana. Deeply understand engineering experiences and defines and documents the expected process for "Manages Builds and Integrations" which is part of our overall IT process and our System Development LifeCycle. Collaborates closely with engineering teams to coach and consult on standard Agile and DevOps practices and recommends best practices for teams to achieve Humana IT's objectives and key results. Partners closely with colleagues in High Performance Engineering to organize and create repeatable processes, documentation, and approaches. Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, and identifies indicators for future improvement opportunities. Collects data to determine root cause of problems and implements solutions. Proactively shares insights and suggestions with leadership and begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
5 or more years of technical experience
Experience in a technical role with DevOps and Agile
Proficiency in business consulting and/or operational leadership experience
Strong business and financial acumen
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Project and Visio
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport at all levels within the organization
Ability to interact with and defend position with senior management
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving associate experiences
Six Sigma or Lean certification
SAFe or other Agile certification
Will report to the Associate Director, Enterprise Transformation, IT High Performance Engineering and DevOps
