Danaher Corporation Talent Sourcing Specialist in Coralville, Iowa

The Talent Sourcing Specialist proactively identifies and develops a pipeline of top talent with skill sets that align with career opportunities at IDT.

Essential Functions:

  • Use sourcing tools (job boards, online networks, other websites, ATS, CRM) to search for talent and build candidate pipelines.

  • Act as brand ambassador and share company and job specific information with candidates via online tools, over the phone and at recruiting events.

  • Compile and analyze sourcing metrics. Regularly review tools and strategy for effectiveness.

  • Build and cultivate credible working relationships with hiring managers and business partners. Understand business segments and daily work so job previews can be shared with candidates.

  • Regularly attend department meetings, town halls, team huddles to create partnerships and better understand the assigned strategic business units.

  • Partner with recruiters to educate hiring managers on diversity recruitment strategy and impact diversity hiring initiatives.

  • Work with Talent Acquisition department to build relationships with diversity organizations in key markets/locations. Share job postings, create impactful events and have regular communication touch points.

  • Attend area onsite and virtual career fairs as an Integrated DNA Technologies brand ambassador.

  • Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or appropriate discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Professional Experience:

  • Two years of experience working in a fast-paced staffing industry and/or recruiting environment required.

  • Prior experience sourcing senior level, specialized and diverse talent preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings) preferred.

  • Familiarity with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems preferred.

  • Strong talent sourcing skills and ability to utilize websites and technology to attract and drive candidates to pools.

  • Able to build strong relationships with managers.
