Integrated DNA Technologies Support Technician I in Coralville, Iowa

The Support Technician provides desktop support on a global level for IDT employees, while also serving as the single point of contact for all incoming IT requests.

Essential Functions:

  • Routes incoming incidents and service requests to the appropriate functional areas within IT, in a timely manner

  • Installs, troubleshoots and repairs a variety of hardware and software platforms via phone, web and in-person channels

  • Performs basic networking to local desktop computers and other network enabled devices

  • Supports and maintains production printing devices including laser, thermal transfer and direct thermal technologies

  • Configures and supports company owned mobile devices for both on and off site users

  • Configures and maintains A/V equipment for conference rooms and on/off site presentations

  • Helps maintain the tracking and disposal of IT hardware

  • Communicates clearly and professionally with internal customers

  • Works effectively as part of a team to achieve established outcomes

  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • High School diploma required

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field preferred

  • ITIL Foundation Certification Preferred

Professional Experience:

  • Two years of IT service delivery preferred

Visual Acuity:

  • Work requires close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • Ability to read pertinent printed material and distinguish colors.

  • Ability to prepare and read written documentation; use of computer.
