Leepfrog does not pay for moving expenses or housing for internships.This internship requires that you work a minimum of 30 hours per week.This internship is only offered during the summer of 2021. Exact dates TBD.Students:Must be employed at an Iowa locationMust participate in a substantive experience in one or more of the following areas: research and development, engineering, process management and production, product experimentation and analysis, product development, market research, exporting, business planning or administrationMust be a student at one of the Iowa community colleges, private colleges, Regent universities or a student who graduated from high school in Iowa but attends an institution of higher learning outside of IowaMust be within 1 to 2 years of graduation (undergraduate or graduate student) ) ***Students that have recently graduated, and are no longer current students, are INELIGIBLE for this program***OverviewLeepfrog Technologies, Inc. provides its CourseLeaf software to more than 370 of the nations most academically complex colleges and universities to manage their academic catalogs, curriculum, section scheduling, registration, and syllabi management.The Software Support Intern supports the Support, Training, and QA Team with their day-to-day activities and special project(s). This internship will give the intern valuable, real-world experience, as well as providing assistance to the Support Team. The intern will gain exposure to various technical support functions during their 10-12 week internship. The ideal candidate is a combination of overall technologist, a passion for problem-solving, and interpersonal skills is desired and will frequently garner the greatest rewards.DutiesMaintain outstanding customer service.Build guidelines and templates, and prepares drafts and final editions of documents.Track projects by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.Act as a liaison between internal staff and the Support Team by appropriately directing questions. Ensure follow-up after answers have been determined.Use discretion to affect timely solution of problems in order to ensure client and internal staff satisfaction.Evaluate processes and make recommendations.
