Integrated DNA Technologies Chemical Manufacturing Scheduler in Coralville, Iowa
The Chemical Manufacturing Scheduler positively contributes to manufacturing efficiency by scheduling the release of raw material production orders in order to support final product manufacturing.
Works with raw material production departments and finished product manufacturing departments to assure uncompromised material supply
Coordinates immediate material requirements for finished product manufacturing departments
Schedules material production for raw material production departments
Optimizes scheduling workflows
Uses ERP and Microsoft Office Suite software to efficiently coordinate production needs
Communicates production delays and material outages to affected departments
Recognizes material requirement abnormalities and communicates with end user and manufacturing departments to resolve issues
Analyzes and reports material use data and decides correct action utilizing data
Documents material manufacturing and utilization requirements accurately
Adheres to all departmental protocols, rules, contamination controls, and safety procedures and understands the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO 14001
Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values
Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in a science related field or an Associate’s degree with at least 2 years of IDT experience required.
Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment required
Previous experience scheduling production processes preferred
Previous experience using an ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor) required
