Integrated DNA Technologies Analytics Developer in Coralville, Iowa
The Analytics Developer is an integral part of the team responsible for designing, developing and supporting robust and sustainable analytics solutions; including self-service reports and data visualizations. This position coordinates with application, infrastructure and business teams to ensure data products and tools meet quality and consistency standards.
Collaborates with business community to elicit, document and translate business requirements for Business Intelligence (BI) solutions into technical requirements
Analyzes complex data systems to develop automated and reusable solutions for extracting requested information while assuring data validity and integrity
Designs, develops, delivers and supports BI applications and solutions as well as reports within IDT’s standards of development lifecycle, testing and validation, documentation and security. Coordinates with business and technical communities as needed.
Trains and empowers others to create and maintain self-service BI solutions. Develops and leads training sessions to educate teams on the use of BI platforms.
Promotes and supports the infrastructure of reporting and BI strategy; including standards and best practices
Performs ongoing monitoring and refinement of BI and reporting tools and solutions
Support business and technical community in ad hoc reporting, querying and analysis

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related subject or equivalent experience/certifications required
Minimum of two years of SQL/T-SQL and report development/information delivery experience required
Two or more years of reporting development or data visualization experience with MS BI Tools preferred

Technical knowledge, experience and aptitude in BI Tools within MS BI applications: SQL, SSAS, SSRS, Excel
